Please go through the detailed notification at http://www.nii.res.in for eligibility criteria. Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying.

3. Application Procedure:

• Fill out the online application form and note the registration number (for future reference). A confirmation email as well as an SMS will be sent to your registered e-mail ID and mobile number, respectively.
• Upload the following documents
  • Photograph and signature.
  • Category certificate (If category is OBC (NCL), SC, ST, EWS)
  • PwD certificate (If PwD is selected as 'Yes')
  • Certificate of fellowship eligibility.
• Make the payment of the application fee through debit/credit card/net-banking/UPI (As applicable).
• Print the confirmation page after the successful fee remittance (for future reference).

Specifications of the documents to be uploaded

• The scanned image of photograph of the applicant should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format, and the image size should be between 20Kb and 200Kb.
• The photograph should be passport size in which the full face is visible and eyes are open. It should present full head from the top of hair to the bottom of chin. The background of the photograph should be of a light colour (preferably white). There should not be any shadow on the face or in the background.
• The scanned image of the applicant's signature should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format, and the image size should be between 10Kb and 200Kb.
• The scanned category certificate/PwD certificate/fellowship certificate should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.pdf format, and the file size should be between 60Kb and 5Mb.

The fee can be remitted in the following ways:

• Through any debit/credit card/net banking/UPI using online payment gateway facility.

Important Notes:

• Applicants must mention their correct & working mobile number and e-mail ID. One mobile number and one e-mail ID should be used for filling out one application only. All information/communication by the National Institute of Immunology will be sent to the applicant's registered mobile number and e-mail ID.
• Once the application form is completed, the applicant should click on the 'Final Submit' button to save all details provided. The applicant may check the filled application in the PREVIEW and modify it if required. The applicant will then be redirected to a payment gateway to complete the payment process.

4. Examination

• The National Institute of Immunology will conduct a computer-based examination in multiple cities and centres across India.
• The examination pattern will be of objective type, and the medium of examination will be English only. Candidates are encouraged to take the mock test, which will be available on this portal on or after 01/05/2025.
• The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes, and total number of questions will be 60. Each correct answer will be awarded THREE marks. ONE mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
